We hold buyer funds in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the product, protecting both parties from fraud. Our Aegis system monitors every deal in real-time, scanning messages for scams, off-platform contact attempts, and suspicious behavior.

- **Agent 2: Analyst** — Deep forensic analysis. Reads entire deal chat history, analyzes screenshots with Vision Language Model, cross-references evidence with platform records. Triggered when a dispute is opened or Sentinel escalates.
- **Agent 3: Arbiter** — Final resolution recommendations. Reviews Agent 2's forensic report and makes a recommendation (release to seller, refund buyer, or escalate to admin). 10% auto-resolve for high-confidence cases; rest go to human moderators.

## How Escrow Works (Step by Step)

2. **Buyer browses and selects** — Searches listings, views details, clicks "Buy"
3. **Escrow created** — A transaction is created with state "AWAITING_PAYMENT"
4. **Buyer funds escrow** — Pays via crypto (NowPayments). Funds are held by EpicSWP, NOT sent to seller yet
5. **Seller delivers** — State changes to "IN_PROGRESS". Seller shares account credentials via the secure in-deal chat
6. **Buyer verifies** — Buyer logs in, changes password, updates 2FA, then clicks "Confirm Receipt"
7. **Funds released** — State changes to "COMPLETED". Funds are released to seller's wallet
8. **Withdrawal** — Seller can withdraw to their crypto wallet, bank, or PayPal (admin reviews)

## Dispute Resolution

If either party is unhappy:
1. Open a dispute from the transaction page
2. Aegis Analyst runs a full forensic analysis
3. Evidence is reviewed (chat logs, screenshots, timeline)
4. Aegis Arbiter makes a recommendation
5. A human moderator makes the final binding ruling

## Fees

- **Escrow fee:** 6% (charged to buyer on each transaction)
- **Withdrawal fee:** 1-3% (configurable by admin)
