Dark and Light is a fantasy survival sandbox from Snail Games where you build a base, tame creatures and craft gear. The PC game came to Steam Early Access on 20 July 2017 and is still sold there. Dark and Light Mobile, from Snail Games Japan, launched on phones in April 2024.

The PC game has a very small player base, many of them on community servers. Listings don't always say which version they mean, so settle that before anything else.

Proof it still connects

Ask the seller to open the game on a live screen share and join a server with the character. With few PC players, no recent updates and a mobile app that's hard to get, this matters more than anything on the character sheet.

PC or mobile

Confirm which version the account belongs to. A PC copy sits on a Steam account, and Steam's agreement bars selling accounts, so the whole Steam login would change hands. For mobile, ask how the account signs in.

Which server

PC characters live on official servers or on community and rented ones, such as DARK-FUN-Archos. Ask for the server name and whether it is official or community-run.

How to buy a Dark and Light account safely
