A Minecraft account is a Microsoft account. The Java profile name, the capes and the game licence all live on it, and the old Mojang logins stopped working in September 2023. Buying one means taking over that Microsoft account.
Many listings here are built around Hypixel: an MVP+ rank, SkyBlock networth or a place on a leaderboard. Others sell a short name or an official cape. Pay into escrow and check each claim before the seller is paid.

What to check on a Minecraft account
Official capes and client cosmetics
Mojang capes such as the MINECON or Migrator capes belong to the account and everyone can see them. Capes from mods or third-party clients only show to people using that client. Ask the seller to open the profile on minecraft.net and show the capes there.
The Migrator Cape
It went to Java copies bought before 1 December 2020 that moved to Microsoft before the September 2023 deadline. Nobody can earn it now, so it raises the price.
Hypixel standing
Hypixel's rules count selling or trading accounts as account abuse, and it blocks accounts that look compromised. Lifting a block means an appeal and then a 14-day recovery period. Check for punishments in game and remove SkyBlock co-op members before you confirm.
Microsoft security info
Add your own email and authenticator first, then remove the seller's. Asking Microsoft to remove every security method at once puts the account on a 30-day hold for further changes.
How to buy a Minecraft account safely
- 1Pick the Minecraft account you want and put your questions to the seller in the deal chat before paying.
- 2Click Buy with Escrow Protection and pay the price plus the 6% escrow fee. EPICSWP holds the money; the seller doesn't receive it yet.
- 3The seller hands over inside the deal chat, which is checked for common scam patterns.

Selling a Minecraft account

Microsoft's Services Agreement says you can't transfer your Microsoft account credentials to anyone else, and Hypixel bans account trading on its servers. Escrow protects your payment from the seller, not the account from Microsoft or Hypixel.
Questions about Minecraft accounts
Can you still buy an old Mojang account?
Not one that works. Mojang accounts that weren't moved to Microsoft by 19 September 2023 can no longer sign in, so every working account for sale is a Microsoft account.
Which Minecraft capes are rare?
The MINECON capes from 2011 to 2016 and the Migrator Cape, which can't be earned any more. The Pan cape is given to every player, so it adds nothing.
Does a Hypixel rank stay with the account?
Ranks bought in the Hypixel store go to the Minecraft account named at checkout, so they show on that account. Hypixel's rules still forbid trading accounts.
