Before you buy a MapleStory account

A MapleStory account is a Nexon account holding characters spread over several worlds. Much of its value sits in the Union and Legion levels and in the characters other than the main, so look at the whole account.

The world type matters most. In Heroic worlds (Kronos and Hyperion, Solis in Europe) equipment can't be traded, so an account carries levels and progress. Interactive worlds (Scania and Bera, Luna in Europe) have the Auction House and Meso Market. Aurora and Elysium were merged into Scania in August 2025.

Which world each character is on

Ask for the character selection screen for every world. A Heroic account and an Interactive account with the same levels are priced very differently.

Steam and two-step login

A Nexon account can be linked to Steam. If it is, the Steam side has to change hands too, along with the email and any two-step login.

Mesos from farmers

Nexon removes mesos and items that came from meso farmers and can act against the account that received them. A huge meso balance on a lightly played account is a warning sign.

Dormant accounts

Nexon says accounts left unused for more than a year may expire. Ask when the account was last played.

How to buy a MapleStory account safely

  1. 1Pick the MapleStory account you want and put your questions to the seller in the deal chat before paying.
  2. 2Click Buy with Escrow Protection and pay the price plus the 6% escrow fee. EPICSWP holds the money; the seller doesn't receive it yet.
  3. 3The seller hands over inside the deal chat, which is checked for common scam patterns.
  4. 4Change the Nexon account email and password, move the two-step login and any Steam link to you, and log in to each character on your own PC. Do all of it while your payment is still held.
  5. 5Confirm receipt once everything matches, which releases the payment to the seller. If something is wrong, open a dispute and a moderator decides.

Selling a MapleStory account

Show the character list on every world, the Union and Legion levels and the meso and NX balances, and say which worlds are Heroic.

Hand over the Nexon login once the payment shows as held. Your price is released when the buyer confirms.

Create a free listing

Nexon's terms say it does not recognise or allow transfers of accounts between players, and that an attempted sale is void and may end in the account being forfeited. Escrow protects your payment, not the account from Nexon.

Questions about MapleStory accounts

What is the difference between Heroic and Interactive worlds?

Heroic worlds, called Reboot until 2023, block player trading and the Meso Market. Interactive worlds allow trading through the Auction House.

Is MapleStory Classic World part of the same account?

It is a separate world Nexon opened in October 2026, played on a Nexon account like the others. Ask the seller which worlds the characters are on.

How do I sell my MapleStory account?

List it free with screenshots of each world's characters and the Union level, then hand over the Nexon login once the payment is held.
