YouTube Channel ID Finder
Paste any channel URL or @handle and get its permanent UC… ID. No signup, no API key.
What a channel ID is
Every YouTube channel has a permanent ID: 24 characters starting with UC, such as UCX6OQ3DkcsbYNE6H8uQQuVA. The channel name and the @handle can both be changed, but the ID stays the same for the life of the channel. That is why APIs, analytics tools and some YouTube settings ask for the ID rather than the name.
How this tool finds it
It opens the public page for the channel, handle or video you paste and reads the ID from the page's markup, the same HTML YouTube sends to anyone who visits. It doesn't use the YouTube API and you don't sign in. If you paste something that already contains a UC ID, it simply hands that back. Each visitor can run 12 lookups a minute.
To find your own channel's ID without a tool, sign in to YouTube, open Settings from your profile picture and choose Advanced settings. The channel ID is listed there with a copy button.
Why it matters when a channel is sold
The ID is the one detail of a channel that can't be renamed. Put it in the deal chat before you pay, so you and the seller agree on exactly which channel is being sold, and check it again after the handover. A different ID means a different channel, whatever the name says.
