Amazon Games is shutting New World: Aeternum down on 31 January 2027. It was taken off sale on 15 January 2026, and in-game purchases ended on 20 July 2026.

New World is closing

Any New World account bought now stops working when the servers go offline on 31 January 2027. Season 10, Nighthaven, was the last content release. Whatever you pay buys a few months of play at most.

The game can't be bought new any more, so a lost account can't be replaced. People who already own it can still download it until the shutdown.
