An established Discord server with active members can be worth real money. Sell it with the payment held in escrow: the buyer can't take ownership and disappear, and once they've paid into escrow they can't pull the money back on their own. Listing is free, and the buyer pays the 6% fee.
Be aware that Discord's Platform Manipulation Policy says not to buy or sell servers, and Discord can take action against a server that has been sold.
WHAT BUYERS VALUE#
- Member count, and even more, the number of daily active members and messages.
- The niche. Gaming, trading and community servers each attract different buyers.
- Server age and boost level. Boosts belong to the members who pay for them, so the level can drop after a sale.
- Whether the owner account, with its original email, is included.
HOW THE SALE RUNS#
- STEP 01
List the server for free, with screenshots of its member and activity numbers.
- STEP 02
Agree the deal in the deal chat. The buyer pays into escrow before anything moves.
- STEP 03
Use Discord's Transfer Ownership to hand over the server, then hand over the login of any account that is part of the deal.
- STEP 04
The buyer confirms receipt, and your full price goes to your wallet.
Ready to sell?
Free to list. Escrow holds the buyer's money until you are paid in full.
