"Scammers" Forum at EpicSwap - Guidelines & Policies
Welcome to the 'Scammers' forum at EpicSwap. This is a platform for our members to report their experiences with fraudulent members, helping the community to stay alert and prevent further scams. Administrative action may be taken against members found to be in violation of our policies.
Investigation Guidelines
EpicSwap provides dispute resolution services free of charge, but only for transactions that used our Trade Swap services. For cases where Trade Swap was not involved, an account review will be carried out on the accused member. If the member is found to be a known or previously banned scammer, they will be banned.
For Trade Swap disputes, it's recommended to use the "Report" button to initiate a dispute. An admin will join the chat where all evidence and chat logs will already be posted, making investigation easier and faster. However, if you prefer, you can also open a thread in the 'Active Dispute' forum.
Chain Trades & Recalls
In situations where an account has been bought and sold many times (5+), and cannot be recovered during a recall dispute, the loss will be shared by everyone involved. Exceptions can be made if evidence is provided that someone had no ability to recall the account.
League of Legends Dispute Rules
Please note, trading of League of Legends (LoL) accounts is high risk. We have specific guidelines for any disputes regarding LoL accounts:
1) If a recall claim is made by the buyer without proof from either party, the seller will have to either provide a refund or a second account. Sellers who refuse may face negative feedback or, in the case of repeat complaints, bans.
2) If a second account is recalled, the dispute will remain resolved and closed. The seller can give a 3rd, 4th or 5th account, but in terms of dispute resolution, the dispute is considered resolved after a 2nd account or refund is given.
3) Neutral feedback is mostly unrestricted for anyone buying, selling, or trading League of Legends accounts, with few exceptions.
General Rules
Irrelevant Posting: Posting in a scammer thread is restricted to those directly involved or those providing helpful input.
Proof: You must provide proof of the scam when posting, such as instant message logs, PayPal logs, screenshots, etc.
Personal Information: Please edit out any personal information such as full names, phone numbers, addresses, etc. All members are entitled to privacy.
False Information: Providing false information or attempting to deceive members will result in account suspension and post removal.
Dispute Thread Removal: The original poster can request the removal of a dispute thread to a private forum viewable only by the mods and admin.
